Music Farming is a nonprofit organization that provided a grant to Boulder Arts Council to provide hands-on music experiences form members of our very rural community. We have a variety of activities happening to provide more musical opportunities for Boulder residents and children.

Summer Music Camp

iPad/Phone Music CreationInstructor/Facilitators: Jordan Badger & Patrick Briggs
Get familiar with apps and make music on your touch screen device. Learn more about instrument and synth apps on your phone or tablet. This workshop will focus on creating music, solo or in a group setting using simple to play apps. Learn: To plug into sound systems. Time signature, basics, and metronome settings. Preset looping techniques. Basic improvisation ideas. Date will be set once interest is determined. These workshops are intended for folks 13 years and older. Younger students will have the opportunity to explore making music on a tablet through the Summer Music Camp. DrummingInstructor/Facilitators: Bernie Wuestefeld and Jordan Badger
Learn the basics of drumming with a group. Instruments will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own. The first event will be held at the Boulder Town Park Pavillion on Tuesday, June 4th at 6pm. |
