Learn to make pottery on a potter's wheel and glazing. Boulder Arts Council is hosting a Pottery Workshop with master potter and teacher Suzanne Conine. September 5-8 from 9:00 - 1:00 pm and Glazing Techniques on September 18 or 19.
Location details for the building and glazing will be provided after registration. Space is limited, so register today by completing the checkout process! Cost of the workshop is $125 for all clay, glazes, tools and instruction. If you have questions or want scholarship information, please email boulderartscouncil@gmail.com. Teacher Information Working in her home studio, Suzanne creates ceramic pieces for dining and decoration. Her large sculptural forms have been recognized in state and regional shows. She received a commission by the Utah Division of Arts and Museums Collection for an installation in Washington County. Her 34 year career as an educator included working at Dixie High, Millcreek High and the Waterford School where she enjoyed sharing her knowledge and skills with many students. Presenting workshops for local arts organizations, teacher accreditation and University students is always her distinct pleasure. Mostly she just likes getting her hands dirty and playing in the clay………. Don't miss this great night at the Boulder Town Park Pavilion on Sunday, June 11th at 7pm with Pixie and the Partygrass Boys.
